What items can be taken to Kilby CF when a male inmate goes to prison?

SUBJECT: County Jail Inmates being received at Kilby C.F.

The following list contains the items that County Jail Inmates are allowed to being to Kilby's Receiving Center.

The ONLY personal property allowed into Kilby R & CC will be as follows:

A.      Wedding band (1) - plain gold or silver band - No designs or stones. Value $50.00 or less

B.      Legal Materials/documents pertaining to current or pending cases(s) only

C.      Tennis shoes (1) pair white - must be 90% white and (1) pair shower shoes.

D.      Religious necklace (1) valued at $25.00 or less. No 14K or real gold allowed.

E.       Watch (1) valued at $25.00 or less.

F.       Bible or Koran (only 1)

G.     Medicine and or medical documents.

H.      Wallet (1) with no more than 20 pictures.

I.        Writing supplies - 25 each: stamps/envelopes/paper and (1) pencil or clear barrel pen.

J.        Cosmetics/hygiene items: (1) each

·         Clear Shampoo in clear bottle

·         Toothbrush and toothpaste

·         Deodorant in a clear bottle

·         3 bars of soap

·         Hairbrush (1) palm type - no handle

NOTE: inmates returning from court may return with the items that they left with, ONLY.
